Sharon Stone - Bob Odenkirk's adversary in "Nobody 2"
Sharon Stone (66) will make Bob Odenkirk's (61) life difficult in "Nobody 2". According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actress has signed on for the role of the antagonist in the sequel of the surprise hit from 2021. Details about the plot are not known yet, except that Stone will embody the main adversary of the "Better Call Saul" star.
In "Nobody", Bob Odenkirk played an average Joe who used to work as a killer for US intelligence agencies. When he gets involved with a criminal gang, his peaceful life is over. The Nobody unearths his buried killer skills.
A Sequel is a foregone conclusion for the Surprise Hit
"Nobody" made 57 million dollars worldwide with a budget of only 18 million US dollars. A sequel was a quick decision. After Russian filmmaker Ilya Naishuller (40) directed the first part, Indonesian director Timo Tjahjanto (43, "May the Devil Take You Too") is taking over for the sequel.
Besides Bob Odenkirk, Connie Nielsen (59, "Gladiator") is set to return in "Nobody 2", who portrayed his estranged wife in the first part.
With the villain role, Sharon Stone returns to her roots, as she became a superstar in the early 90s. In "Total Recall", she fought with Arnold Schwarzenegger (76), in "Basic Instinct" she was the enigmatic Femme Fatale.
It has been quiet around Sharon Stone in the new millennium, partly due to various health setbacks. Most recently, she appeared in series, such as in 2020 in "Ratched".
