- "Belly Legs Po" to number one
"Go to the gym, get skinny, turn it into a show. We're pretty in bikinis, it's abs, legs, booty": Rapper and singer Shirin David (29) has scored her seventh number one hit with her song "Abs, Legs, Booty". "No female solo act - not even Rihanna, Lady Gaga, or Madonna - has had more," GfK Entertainment reports.
Previously, Shirin David reached number one in the single charts with the version of "Breathless Through the Night" sung together with Helene Fischer, as well as with "Gib ihm", "90-60-111", "Ich darf das", "Lieben wir" and "Be a Hoe/Break a Hoe".
The long-running hit "Wonder" by Ayliva & Apache 207 drops from number one to two. Artemas rises from four to three with "I Like The Way You Kiss Me".
There's also movement in the album charts: Powerwolf, the metal band from Saarbrücken, enters at number one with "Wake Up The Wicked", marking their fourth number one album, according to GfK Entertainment. Rapper Edo Saiya ("Lieder vom Leben") is new at number two.
The re-release of The Police's last album "Synchronicity" takes third place. Deep Purple's "=1" (pronounced "equals one") falls to number four. Taylor Swift, who performed in Munich over the weekend, drops from three to five with "The Tortured Poets Department".
In the world of music, Lady Gaga, like Shirin David, has had her share of success, holding multiple number one hits. GfK Entertainment mentions that no female solo artist, not even Rihanna, Lady Gaga, or Madonna, has surpassed her number of number one hits.
