Barcelona's fantastical initial phase is becoming increasingly surreal.

Hansi Flick's FC Barcelona dominates Valladolid with a 7-0 thrashing. The German coach's influence is evident as he brings joy to the Catalan squad. A Brazilian star and a recent Bundesliga recruit shine in Barcelona's home victory.

In his debut Spanish La Liga game, Hansi Flick secured a resounding win for FC Barcelona, clinching their fourth victory in the league. The 7-0 (3-0) demolition of Real Valladolid at the Camp Nou saw contributions from some key players. Robert Lewandowski, former Bundesliga top scorer, and Dani Olmo, former Leipzig player, each netted a goal, while Raphinha, the 27-year-old Brazilian, stole the show with three impressive strikes.

Lewandowski and Raphinha put Barcelona in a commanding position with a quickfire double in the 20th and 24th minutes. Jules Koundé (45+2) added to the lead just before half-time, and Raphinha scored again in the 64th and 72nd minutes to make it 4-0. Olmo then got in on the action with a goal in the 82nd minute, and Ferran Torres followed suit with another just two minutes later. The margin of victory could have been even wider.

"I think the fans have witnessed something special tonight. The team is energized by their support and is always eager to score," Flick said after the game. "The players haven't let up in their intensity. It's a source of pride for fans."

Flick also commended Dani Olmo, who once again put in a strong performance. "I anticipated this impactful debut. I know him well. He's phenomenal. His work in midfield is unbelievable. He provides the perfect balance."

However, it's Flick himself who has been lauded as the best summer signing by the fans. "I'm proud that they love me, but we still have a long way to go. It's only the fourth game day," Flick said.
