Pop music icon reborn - At the tender age of eleven, Dieter Bohlen aspired for fame.

Dieter Bohlen, a musician, producer, and "Deutschland sucht den Superstar" judge, had big dreams from a young age. When he was eleven, he told everyone he wanted to be famous and wealthy. Now, at 70, he speaks to the Bremen "Weser-Kurier" about his past.

Bohlen doesn't understand the idea of work-life balance. As a child, he spent his entire day, weekends, and nights in the studio, pursuing his goal. He remembers spending Christmas Eve in the studio with his bandmates. They were all crazy back then, he said. He thinks that kind of dedication is a thing of the past, and that's okay.

Today, Bohlen believes people no longer chase success at the cost of their reason and health. It's a positive change, he said. Still, his own journey was challenging. He acknowledged that luck played a part, but sometimes you have to stick with it before the luck finally pays off.
