Royal family of the Netherlands - At a summer photoshoot, they dazzle.

Every year, the royal family of Netherlands plans for two official photoshoots with King Willem-Alexander (57) and Queen Maxima (53). During their last session, the seaside of Scheveningen was chosen for the family's portrait. This time, they opted for a more intimate setting in the garden of Huis ten Bosch, located in the north-east of The Hague.

Mambo, the royal family's beloved pet, was part of the shoot too

The beautiful Huis ten Bosch palace, where the Dutch monarchs reside, provided a perfect summery background for the exciting photoshoot. The pictures were released on June 7th and also showcased on the royal family's Instagram account. The images capture the royals looking relaxed and carefree in their personal space. In one photo, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima are seen together like a loving couple. Another image shows the king hugging his elder daughter, Crown Princess Amalia (20), tightly to his chest. The 20-year-old places her head adoringly on her dad's strong shoulder.

As one can't imagine a royal photoshoot without their pets, Mambo, the dachshund of the royal family, had to be included in the pictures as well. Queen Maxima is seen lovingly holding Mambo in her arms, while Crown Princess Amalia tenderly pats the dog. The moments captured on camera also include Mambo playing in the garden of the palace or licking the face of Crown Princess Amalia.

In the upcoming week, the King and Queen are scheduled to tour the United States. They will be visiting Atlanta and New York, as stated by the palace.
