Adele Presents Concert in Las Vegas - Anger erupts due to criticism of Pride month.

Every June, people celebrate Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, Queers, and Transgender individuals during Pride Month. As someone who advocates for the LGBTQ+ community, Adele (36) showed her support during a recent show. A belligerent attendee made a derogatory comment about Pride, which sparked a response from the singer.

"Seriously, don't be such an idiot"

Performing at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, a spectator yelled out, "Pride is garbage." Without missing a beat, the popular artist gave a NSFW response, recorded by "TMZ." Adele defended the LGBTQ+ community by saying, "Are you stupid? Stop being so ridiculous! If you have nothing good to say, just be quiet, okay?"

Known for her support of the LGBTQ+ community, Adele proved it again in 2023. She hosted a Pride Month celebration in Las Vegas, like a true ally, wearing a black gown decorated with rainbow glitter.

Encouraging her fans to be themselves

Her hit song, "I Set Fire To The Rain," is even considered a "gay anthem" by many. In an interview with "Out" magazine, Adele revealed that she rewrote the song after a gay friend expressed their discontent with her earlier release, "Chasing Pavements." She shared that she wanted to create something meaningful for the queer community; "I've received tons of emails from fans expressing how much my music helps them feel better about themselves, which is really heartwarming."

In a show of unconditional love and acceptance, Adele also made it clear that she would stand by her son, Angelo (11), no matter their sexual orientation. In a passage to "Time Magazine," she said, "I'm eager to know who his closest friends will be, whether he'll have a girlfriend or boyfriend, or what movies he enjoys...I will continuously support my child no matter whatever direction his life takes."

So, join the chorus of Adele's fans as she cherishes her fans and defends the LGBTQ+ community. Her loyalty is unwavering, ensuring everyone to feel welcomed and understood.
