Three-time Grand Slam champion Angelique Kerber will retire from her career after the Olympics in Paris. She shared this news on social media. "Before the Olympics begin, I can already say that I will never forget Paris 2024, because it will be my last professional tournament as a tennis player," said Kerber.

The 36-year-old returned to the tour at the beginning of the year after a long baby break, but she could not pick up the form of her past days. In Paris, she will play both singles and doubles with Laura Siegemund.
