Amon-Ra St. Brown wins brother duel in the NFL
Professional footballer Amon-Ra St. Brown and the Detroit Lions have won their first clash against his brother Equanimeous and the Chicago Bears this season.
In the North American professional league NFL, the Lions won 31:26 (14:10) thanks to a last-minute touchdown from David Montgomery. With eight wins from ten games, Detroit is still clearly on course for the play-offs.
Amon-Ra St. Brown, the son of a German and an American, played a decisive role in the victory with a touchdown and eight passes caught for 77 yards. Only Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings has more games with at least six receptions in his first three seasons in the NFL. The 24-year-old Amon-Ra St. Brown can still surpass Jefferson's mark of 32 games this season.
Equanimeous St. Brown, who has rarely played for Chicago this season, caught two balls for 19 yards in the Bears' unfortunate loss. But despite three interceptions from quarterback Jared Goff, the Lions prevailed.
Amon-Ra has now only lost the first of five games against his brother, who is three years older. The next sibling duel is scheduled for three weeks from now on December 10 in Chicago.
Amon-Ra St. Brown's successful performance in American Football extended beyond his touchdown, as he also had eight receptions for 77 yards against his brother Equanimeous and the Chicago Bears' team in the NFL. The Detroit Lions, where Amon-Ra plays, are currently leading the NFL with an impressive 8-2 record, positioning them strongly for the play-offs. Equanimeous St. Brown, playing for the Chicago Bears, managed to catch two passes for 19 yards in the game, but it wasn't enough for his team to secure a win.
