His stepdaughter, Mary Miller, announced to The Hollywood Reporter that Bower passed away on May 30th in his Los Angeles residence. He was 86 years old and passed away peacefully in his sleep.

Bower, whose career spanned from the 1970s, was best known for his roles in various series. Throughout his life, he featured in more than 70 movie and TV projects. In recent times, he starred in "El Camino," the "Breaking Bad" sequel, or the show "Criminal Minds." One of Bower's last performances was in the series "Lucky Hank" along with Bob Odenkirk, a cast member from "Better Call Saul."
