Spanish tennis sensation Carlos Alcaraz is off to the semi-finals of the French Open, clashing against future world champion Jannik Sinner in a showdown for young talent. The exceptional 21-year-old sealed his place in the final four on Court Philippe Chatrier with a well-earned win against the fumbling Greek, Stefanos Tsitsipas: 6:3, 7:6 (7:3), 6:4. This triumph marks Alcaraz's 50th Grand Slam victory and his fifth semi-final appearance in a significant championship.

On Friday, the clash between Sinner and Alcaraz—a contest of youth—will mark the youngest semi-final at a Grand Slam competition since Murray and Nadal faced off at the 2008 US Open. In their semi-final match, Zverev duels de Minaur, each one vying for the final remaining spot.

Tsitsipas still plans to contend in the doubles with his brother Petros on Wednesday. Their match against the Frenchmen Manuel Guinard and Gregoire Jacq is slated for the afternoon.
