Princess Anne - After a short return, she cancels appointments

Princess Anne (73) has had several engagements cancelled after a horse accident in late June. She visited the 4th Battalion of the military intelligence service at Bulford Barracks in Salisbury, Wiltshire, on Wednesday (17th July), as reported by "Hello!". However, several engagements have been cancelled since then.

Three engagements have been cancelled. One was a trip to Scotland at the beginning of the week to visit the NLV Pharos tender ship. The Princess's visit to the Brancaster Station in the north of Norfolk on Thursday (18th July) also did not take place. The National Coastwatch Institution (NCI), of which Anne is patron, confirmed this to "Norwich Evening News".

Another engagement, a barbecue of London Scottish F.C., was also cancelled. The club announced this in a post on its website: "We regret to inform that Her Royal Highness Princess Anne will no longer be attending our BBQ before the season on 18th July, as she is still recovering from her duties."

Princess Anne does not remember the horse accident

It was reported on 24th June that the Princess was admitted to Southmead Hospital in Bristol after a fall. She stayed there for five days, having sustained an injury at her estate in Gloucestershire. It was reported that she had been struck by a horse. The Princess made her first public appearance on 12th July at an equestrian event in Gloucestershire. At the event, Anne mentioned that she could not remember the fall herself.
