Actress from the United States - Actress Diane Kruger stars in the thrilling television program "Little Disaster."

Diane Kruger, a German actress, has been cast as one of the main characters in the upcoming psychological drama "Little Disaster" on Paramount+. As per an industry report in Variety, she'll be starring alongside British actress Jo Joyner, known for her role in "Bridgerton," and fellow actors Shelley Conn and Emily Taafe. The show is an adaptation of a novel by British author Sarah Vaughan. It revolves around four women, their bond, and the everyday struggles as mothers.

In response to her new role, Kruger said, "I believe this series will present a relatable narrative, challenging the stigma around motherhood in society." The story revolves around the protagonist Jess (Kruger) and her friend Liz (Joyner), who's an emergency doctor. When Jess brings her injured daughter to the hospital, Liz has to decide whether to alert the child services or not. This predicament sets off a spiral of events, depicting how one moment can shatter families and friendships.

Synopsis of "Little Disaster"

The narrative takes place in a hospital. When Jess, played by Kruger, arrivies at the hospital with her daughter, who has a head injury, she meets her friend Liz, played by Joyner, a doctor. Jess can't explain the circumstances leading to her daughter's injury when she arrives. As a responsible doctor, Liz has to decide whether to inform the child protection services. This dilemma is set into motion a series of events, showcasing how a singular moment can wreck and fracture families and companionships.

As per the Variety report, production has commenced. The show will premiere on Paramount+ in the UK and Ireland initially, before being released globally. Icelandic filmmaker Eva Sigurdardottir is directing the series.
