Jan Josef Liefers is under scrutiny. - Actor introduces his own podcast.

Actor Jan Josef Liefers (59) has a history of discussing his sleep troubles in interviews, and even includes the topic in his band Radio Doria's songs, like the "Moon Song." On Instagram, he revealed his plan to explore the world of insomnia and sleep further through his own podcast.

"How did you sleep last night?"

In his video post, Liefers walks into his bedroom and directly asks his audience, "How did you sleep last night?" He then shares a few statistics, stating that only one-third of people globally claim to have had a great sleep, waking up feeling fully rested, and able to uproot trees. Sadly, he isn't included in that well-rested group.

Soon, those suffering from this issue will have a podcast created for them. In this podcast, Liefers intends to dive deep into the "endless topic of sleep." He's already set up a chat with the head of sleep medicine at the Berlin Charité. The podcast will surely keep you awake, as he says, "It will definitely be very interesting and entertaining!"

Share your sleep experiences

Not just a one-sided conversation, Liefers wants to involve his listeners as well. There could be topics like "What keeps you up at night?", "What have you experienced with snoring?", or "Do you have recurring dreams that disturb your sleep?".

To join in, fans can reach out to Liefers directly using the provided communication methods in his post, such as email or leaving a message on his voicemail.

Release date and name of the podcast

Liefers didn't reveal the start date or title of his podcast in his video message. Still, his "Until soon in Somnoversum!" at the end of the written contact options implies the possible name might be "Somnoversum," merging the words universe and Somno, which means sleep in Latin.
