National team - According to "Bild": Kroos can imagine a DFB comeback
Toni Kroos can apparently imagine a comeback for the German national soccer team. This was reported by the Bild newspaper. The Real Madrid midfield star had originally ended his career in the DFB team in 2021 after the round of 16 exit at the European Championship.
Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann recently described a Kroos return as an "interesting thought" in the ZDF sports studio and added: "You have to think about all players who have a German passport, I think that's my job." However, Nagelsmann revealed that he had not yet spoken to the 2014 world champion about the matter.
The 33-year-old has been one of the key players in the Real Madrid team since 2014. He won the Champions League four times with the Whites, having also triumphed in the top flight with Bayern in 2013. His contract with Real expires in the summer.

Toni Kroos, currently a key player for Real Madrid, has expressed a possible interest in returning to the German national soccer team, as reported in the picture newspaper 'Bild'. Despite this, Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann has not yet had a conversation with Kroos about the possibility, but viewed it as an "interesting thought". Kroos, who won the Champions League four times with Real Madrid, had initially retired from the DFB team following Germany's round of 16 exit at the European Championship in 2021. If Kroos were to join the DFB team again, he would be joining the likes of other German internationals, including those in the national soccer team and the DFB team. Meanwhile, Spanish soccer fans may be eager to witness how Toni Kroos' potential return to the German national team could affect future matches, given his past successes in the UEFA Euro and FIFA World Cups.
