Hot chip challenge: A tragic incident occurred when a 14-year-old from Worcester, Massachusetts in the USA, consumed a chip containing extreme levels of capsaicin, a spicy substance found in chili peppers. The autopsy report revealed that the teen died due to cardiac arrest caused by this food substance.
Sad story of courage test: The deceased had an underlying heart condition and an enlarged heart which may have contributed to his death. The teenager had passed away in the initial stages of September, prior to the subsequent recall of the spicy product by the manufacturer, Paqui. Notable cases include three young individuals hospitalized in California and seven more in Minnesota; both states have reported health issues linked to this product. Capsaicin stands out as a dangerous culprit in this situation.
