T-Series Dethroned: PewDiePie Vindication

MrBeast acknowledged the momentous leap past X, formerly known as Twitter, taking over T-Series' long-held position with a post on Sunday (June 2). Employing data from a popular statistics provider, he declared victory.

"We've finally gotten even with PewDiePie after six years," MrBeast wrote, albeit inaccurately referring to his colleague Felix Kjellberg (34), who was the undisputed YouTube king from 2013 to 2019 until T-Series took over. During those years, the difference in followers was a massive 92 million. Now, PewDiePie has become one of the most subscribed channels.

MrBeast: The Fresh Champion on YouTube

MrBeast, who has been visible on YouTube since he was 12 years old, currently holds the crown for the most followers on the platform. In addition, he manages four other channels with a following ranging from 24 to 43 million subscribers.

This YouTuber is known for his challenge videos and showering people with money. In a recent video, for example, candidates could earn $10,000 daily by surviving in the wilderness. MrBeast regularly distributes money in his videos and real life. He also's doesn't shy away from doing outlandish things in front of the camera, like watching paint dry.

However, in the area of most viewed videos on YouTube, MrBeast falls short, trailing behind various competitors. His videos accumulated "merely" 50 billion views, while T-Series made a whopping 256 billion views.
