Four years after her last studio album "Smile," Katy Perry (39) has announced the release of her sixth album titled "143" and has provided the release date: September 20. On the official Instagram profile of the singer, she calls on her fans to pre-order through her website.

143 means "I love you"

"143" stands for "I love you" (German: Ich liebe dich), a code used in messages sent via pagers in the early 1990s. "I have embarked on making a bold, excessive, joyful Dance-Pop album with the symbolic 143, the numerical expression of love, as a recurring theme," the American announces. More details are still not available.

The first single "Woman's World" will be revealed on July 11. A day later, the music video will be launched, as Perry announced in an Instagram post on June 17.

Finally time for own music again

After a four-year break from albums, the "I Kissed A Girl" chart-topper is making a comeback with new music. The singer has focused on her Las Vegas show, her jury duty in seven seasons of "American Idol" (the American version of "Germany's Got Talent"), and her three-year-old daughter Daisy in recent years.
