Tennis news update: - A guilty party progresses to the last eight of the French Open alongside Alcaraz.

Jannik Sinner, a top title contender, recently made it to the quarterfinals at the French Open in Paris. This young Italian tennis player defeated his French opponent, Corentin Moutet, in a challenging yet comfortable match with a score of 2:6, 6:3, 6:2, 6:1. This was his 11th consecutive victory at a Grand Slam event.

Sinner, who is just 22 years old, initially found it difficult to cope with Moutet's unusual playing style, which consisted of frequent stop balls and occasional drop shots from below. However, after losing the first serve in the second set, Sinner regrouped and started playing more aggressively and confidently. Moutet's stamina began to weaken, and even the cheers from the crowds on Court Philippe Chatrier couldn't give him the motivation to recover.

Meanwhile, Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz also booked his place in the quarterfinals by defeating Felix Auger-Aliassime of Canada with a score of 6:3, 6:3, 6:1. Alcaraz will now face Stefanos Tsitsipas of Greece, who overcame Italian Matteo Arnaldi on Sunday despite a slow start, with a score of 3:6, 7:6 (7:4), 6:2, 6:2.

The other two main title contenders are Alexander Zverev from Germany and Novak Djokovic from Serbia. Both of them are still in the competition, so the race for the championship is getting really intense.
