During a concert in Las Vegas, popular singer Adele sent a homophobic fan packing. Annoyed, she retorted, "Do you seriously not have a clue? Don't act like a complete fool. If you don't have anything nice or kind to say, better keep your mouth shut, got it?" The fan had earlier shouted a derogatory comment. Multiple news sources covered the incident.
In November 2022, Adele launched her show series titled "Weekends with Adele" in Nevada's gambling hub in the U.S. Originally, 32 concerts were scheduled to take place till March 2023. But then, the vocalist added two more series. The final one is set to run until mid-June, and there are also makeup performances planned for the fall.
Coincidentally, June 1st marked the beginning of Pride Month, an annual observance that helps to increase the visibility of lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgender, and other queer individuals (LGBTQ).
