Texte original : The two-time WNBA MVP scored 28 points in the 104-85 victory to bring her Aces total to 4,301 points, passing Sophia Young-Malcolm’s previous record of 4,300. Wilson also had 10 rebounds for her 11th double-double of the season in the milestone game at the Michelob Ultra Arena.
Wilson, drafted first overall by Las Vegas in 2018, made two free throws late in the fourth quarter to break the record.
"C'est incroyable, ça vraiment est ça," Wilson told the ESPN broadcast after the game. "C'est une moment spécial. Je n'en savais réellement rien, honnêtement, jusqu'au troisième quart-temps. Young-Malcolm scored all her points between 2006 and 2015 while the team was still known as the San Antonio (Silver) Stars and was based in San Antonio. The team was one of the eight original WNBA teams that joined the league in its inaugural 1997 season and played in Salt Lake City as the Utah Starzz until 2002.
The Aces brought stars from the franchise's history, including Young-Malcolm, onto the court postgame to celebrate Wilson's achievement.

The lopsided win moves the Aces to 13-7 on the season. Kelsey Plum scored 23 points to help power Vegas to victory, while fellow All-Stars Jackie Young and Chelsea Gray added 18 and 12 points respectively.
Odyssey Sims scored a season-high 25 points for the Wings, who fall to 5-17 and share the worst record in the league with the Washington Mystics.
Dallas ended the game with a better field goal percentage than the Aces but were outshot six to 14 from three-point range.
Wilson expressed her gratitude for breaking Young-Malcolm's record during a postgame interview with ESPN, stating, "C'est incroyable, ça vraiment est ça... Le travail n'est pas terminé, il y a beaucoup plus à apprendre et à grandir, mais je vais prendre pleinement cette expérience." Following the game, the Aces brought Young-Malcolm onto the court to celebrate Wilson's achievement, emphasizing the importance of honoring the franchise's history and growing the sport.
