Caren Miosga - Your anticipation for January is great
From January, "Anne Will" will become"Caren Miosga": The former "Tagesthemen" presenter is expected to start her first political talk show on January 21, 2024. The new format, which will take over from the talk show hosted by journalist Anne Will (57) after 16 years, will then be shown every Sunday evening at 9:45 pm on Ersten.
Caren Miosga wants to reshape the political conversation
Caren Miosga (54) and her team are very much looking forward to this new task, as she herself said in an NDR press release on Tuesday: "We want to reshape the political conversation in our own way. It is important to us to make it easier to understand how important decisions are made in politics, business, culture and society."
Similar to"Anne Will", the most important topic of the week will continue to be discussed in depth with relevant representatives in the Sunday evening slot. Different points of view and perspectives on the respective topic are to be made clear so that discussion value is created for the coming week.
The Sunday evening political discussion program has been a fixture on ARD since 1998: According to the broadcaster NDR, the future set of "Caren Miosga" is currently being installed in the studio in Berlin-Adlershof. Work began immediately after the last edition of "Anne Will".
