- Young people "can wait a little longer"
In the summer of 2022, Fabian Hambüchen (36) and his partner Victoria exchanged their vows. Two years later, the couple is still gushing about their love: "Marriage has brought us even closer. Our sense of 'us' has only grown stronger," the Olympic gymnast told the magazine "Bunte" in an interview.

The fitness trainer agrees with her husband and adds: "Marriage has given me the feeling that nothing is impossible, and together we can achieve anything - no matter what comes our way." The couple is currently in Paris, primarily for the Olympic Games, but romance is certainly not lacking between them: "I love when we stroll through the streets and let ourselves be guided. Paris has so much to offer."
At the same time, they can reminisce about their first meeting. "I was smitten with Vicky," Hambüchen recalls. "I knew right away that she was special and had to hold back. I didn't want to overwhelm her." Victoria, however, admits that she initially had trouble reading the gymnast. "I felt like he was checking off his list at first. And I was unfairly prejudiced at the beginning."
Family planning "can wait a little longer"
She had assumed that Hambüchen, due to his fame, might have "certain star qualities" or be "aloof," but: "He's the exact opposite. Down-to-earth, caring, and loving," she raves.
As for starting a family, the couple is taking their time. "We have a dog - our little Seppi, who we love dearly and is like a child to us. Anything else can wait a little longer," Victoria makes clear.
The couple's current location in Paris is filled with romance, with Fabian mentioning, "I love when we stroll through the streets and let ourselves be guided. Paris has so much to offer." Later, discussing family plans, Victoria mentions, "We have a dog - our little Seppi, who we love dearly and is like a child to us. Anything else can wait in Paris, where they are currently residing."
