Der „Master“-Star schenkte einigen New Yorkern wirklich gutes Essen, darunter einige Philly-Cheesesteaks und natürlich sich selbst, als er am Mittwoch in einem Imbisswagen im West Village arbeitete.

Cooper bereitet und serviert die Sandwiches zusammen mit Danny DiGiampietro und Seth Braunstein von Angelo’s Pizzeria in seiner Heimatstadt South Philly. Der Truck heißt Danny & Coop's Cheesesteaks.

Auf Instagram bezeichnete DiGiampietro Cooper als „Naturtalent“ in der Lebensmittelindustrie.

Während Cooper arbeitete, kamen Laura Dern und Gigi Hadid zu ihr.

Cooper, der 2015 in „Burned“ den Koch spielte, bedient in seiner Mittagspause auch Nicht-Prominente.

Cheesesteaks kosten zehn Dollar, der Erlös geht an Wohltätigkeitsorganisationen.

Auf dem Menüschild steht: „100 % des heutigen Erlöses werden an bedürftige New Yorker gespendet.“

Cooper und DiGiampietro planen die Eröffnung eines Cheesesteak-Restaurants in New York und haben einen Instagram-Account für Danny & Coop's eingerichtet.
