Woman accuses Tommy Lee of sexual assault in helicopter

A woman has made serious allegations against Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee: the musician is said to have sexually assaulted her in the cockpit of a helicopter. During the flight, the pilot is accused of snorting cocaine.

According to a media report, Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee has been accused by a woman of sexual assault. As the US magazine "Rolling Stone" reports, the lawsuit has been filed against the 61-year-old in Los Angeles. It states that Tommy Lee sexually assaulted a woman in the cockpit of a helicopter after she had been "lured" there by the musician's private pilot.

The lawsuit, which is reportedly available to Rolling Stone, states that the woman met the pilot in early 2002 when he visited the bank in San Diego where she worked. The two are said to have subsequently become friends. The pilot later invited the woman on a flight, and after some hesitation, she agreed and met the pilot at an airfield in early 2003 "for what she thought was a sightseeing tour of San Diego County," she said in the lawsuit, according to the magazine.

Upon arrival, however, the woman continued, she was told that there had been a last-minute change of plans. She and the pilot would fly to Los Angeles with Tommy Lee instead. According to Rolling Stone, the lawsuit also alleges that the pilot and Tommy Lee drank, smoked marijuana and snorted cocaine during the flight. According to the indictment, the sexual assault later took place in the cockpit. He allegedly kissed and touched her against her will.

The woman explained that this caused her "great shock, grief, humiliation, shame and guilt". She did not report Lee because she believed it was an isolated incident and that the police would not take her seriously. She now apparently wants to sue him for damages because she has suffered from anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder, as reported by the US celebrity portal "TMZ". According to Rolling Stone, Lee's representatives have not commented on the allegations.
