Sweet pick-up lines, a few molls to warm you up and understanding for everything and everyone: At the start of the farm week, the "Farmer Seeks Wife" contestants are showing their best side.
The love letters have been archived and the barn party is already history: the big farm week adventure is finally on the agenda for the farmers in this year's "Farmer Seeks Wife" season.
Dairy farmer André from the Lower Rhine region has dressed up to pick up his Julia. A carriage and a colorful bouquet of flowers should help to break the ice quickly. The 29-year-old project manager enjoys her "Cinderella moment" and can't stop marveling later on at André's farm. But the cattle expert also sets a good pace. Bottled beer in the bedroom, a fluffy dog puppy demonstration and the first pick-up line of the season ("You're already a chocolate!") provide Julia with visibly enthusiastic feelings.
Things are also going like clockwork for farmer Stephan and his Laura. The 31-year-old farmer and the 26-year-old medical assistant enjoy the long tractor ride to the farm with plenty of rosé and their first physical advances: "We laugh a lot, I like that," grins the farmer, who has never been in a committed relationship before.
Cheek kisses under the Eifel sun
Master horse farmer Hans has also been single for a long time. After ten years of loneliness, he and Elke are finally looking to be together again - and the signs are good. The two lovebirds couldn't keep their hands off each other at the barn party. On the courtyard terrace of the sensitive Rhinelander, the two gaze deeply into each other's eyes. But that's not all: Elke and Hans kiss each other tenderly on the cheek again and again. Cupid has already done a good job here.
Things aren't quite as tingly at Carolin's horse farm. Lukas, who is staying in a luxurious mobile home, has a great sense of humor and is also wonderful with Carolin's calves. But the spark hasn't really been ignited in the blonde horse farmer with her high relationship standards: "It hasn't clicked yet, but maybe it will", hopes Carolin.

Patrizia and Simone also have a lot of hope in their luggage. Farmer Siegfried's two chosen ones immediately get to work on the tractor ride to the farm. With their little hands on the farmer's firm thighs, it's a good ride on the path to happiness in love. But which lady will the cider lover choose one day? The brash building cleaner (Simone) and the still somewhat reserved care worker (Patrizia) are still on an equal footing.
Then there's eco-farmer Christoph and late bloomer Lisa. The pharmacy student, who always likes to stray from the focus of the big picture, causes a bit of a stir this time too. We remember: at the barn party, Lisa kept poor Christoph in suspense for quite a long time. Having just arrived at the farm, the blonde comes around the corner with the next setback: "Unfortunately, I can only stay for three days because I still have to study for university," explains Lisa.
Metal farmer Christoph again shows understanding for Lisa's situation. "I totally understand," says the young man, who has used almost exclusively recycled building materials for the rustic conversion of his guest bathroom - a fact that even makes meat-eater Lisa forget for a brief moment that Christoph tends more towards "Team Apple" in terms of nutrition. Sausage, fruit, cold meats: In the end, it's the heart and not the stomach that decides anyway - and Lisa and Christoph's hearts definitely rock to the same beat. With this in mind: forks of chips in the air and cheers to love!
