Michael Douglas - With children on the red carpet

Michael Douglas (79) attended the premiere of the documentary "America's Burning" in New York with his son Dylan (23) and daughter Carys (21). Catherine Zeta-Jones (54), his wife and mother of the two children, was not present with the actor. Also missing was Michael Douglas' elder son Cameron (45), whom he had with his former wife Diandra Luker (68).

Elegant Appearance of the Family

For the Red Carpet, Michael Douglas wore a dark blue jacket over a lighter blue shirt. He left the top buttons of the shirt open. A dark gray pant, black shoes, and a black belt completed his outfit. Dylan Douglas chose a subtle striped suit in beige and a white shirt for a timeless look. His sister Carys appeared in a white blazer, paired with a white top and a long maxi skirt made of shimmering silver satin.

Douglas serves as the narrator in the film. In addition, he shares the role of Executive Producer with Barry Levinson (82). David Smick directed the film. He can be very pleased with the close collaboration with the two, according to Deadline. "America's Burning," according to the official film website, deals with the history of the American economy and explores the causes of "today's hate and division." The film is set to be released in select cinemas in the USA on July 12.

Ms. Diandra Luker, Michael Douglas's former wife, was unfortunately unable to attend the film premiere of "America's Burning" in New York, where Michael was accompanied by his children, Carys Zeta Douglas and Dylan Douglas. Although Catherine Zeta-Jones, Michael's current wife and mother of Dylan and Carys, was not present at the event, her absence did not dampen the elegant appearance of the family, with Michael in a dark blue suit and Dylan in a subtle striped suit. The children, including Cameron Douglas, Michael's elder son from his first marriage, showed their support for Michael's role as narrator and executive producer of the documentary, which deals with the history of the American economy and the causes of today's hate and division. The film is set to release in select cinemas in the USA on July 12.
