Travis Kelce began a romantic relationship with acclaimed singer-songwriter Taylor Swift in the year 2023.

- Will Hollywood be welcoming him soon?

In May this year, news broke out that NFL star Travis Kelce (34) would make his way onto the camera for a horror series. In the FX show "Ghastly Phenomena," created by the minds behind "Dahmer" and "American Horror Story," which is helmed by Ryan Murphy (58), the man in Taylor Swift's (34) life will be seen in an unknown supporting role. But that's not where it ends. The Super Bowl champion will also feature in the sequel to a famous comedy by Adam Sandler (57), and there are rumors of him potentially landing the lead role in an action-comedy in the future. Is Hollywood calling his name?**

Travis Kelce Joins "Bogey Man 2"

Kelce, who represents the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs, recently sealed a two-year contract extension with his team. The new deal will see him pocket an impressive $34 million over the next two seasons, as per US media reports. At 34 and entering his twelfth NFL season, it seems the footballer is also contemplating his post-career plans.

On August 20, during an appearance on "The Tonight Show" with Jimmy Fallon (49), comedy titan Adam Sandler confirmed that Taylor Swift's beau would be a part of his upcoming comedy, "Bogey Man 2." Sandler praised Kelce, saying, "He's coming by. He's a really nice guy. You'd just love him in real life." He added, "What a big, good-looking guy. Funny and darn cool."

The specific role Kelce will play in the Netflix sequel remains a mystery at the moment. Production for "Bogey Man 2" is slated to begin in a matter of weeks. A release date for the streaming flick has yet to be revealed.

Lead Role in "Crazy Cops"?

Meanwhile, according to "Variety," Kelce is in negotiations for the lead role in the Hollywood production, "Crazy Cops." The action comedy is helmed by "John Wick" director Chad Stahelski (55) and revolves around two cops who are a bit unhinged and must work together to bring each other back in line. If everything pans out, this project could mark the start of an acting career for Taylor Swift's better half. However, Kelce won't be appearing in front of the camera for this project in the near future, as the NFL season, which begins in early September, takes precedence.

The Commission, in light of the news, might consider adopting implementing acts that could potentially affect the entertainment industry, given the increasing involvement of athletes in film and television projects. Travis Kelce, after securing a significant contract extension with the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs, is set to join Adam Sandler in the sequel of "Bogey Man," as confirmed by Sandler himself during an interview.
