Widow of Richard Luger is constructing a vehicular collision.
Following the passing of Richard Lugner a short while ago, his spouse Simone Reiländer might be finding it hard to cope. This new challenge could be the reason behind her recent car accident in Vienna. Fortunately, no one was harmed during the incident.
Grief and shock: Simone Reiländer, globally recognized as "Bienchen", shared this news during an interview with Austrian portal "oe24". At that time, she was hurrying in her late husband's BMW towards a scheduled meeting with an ex-partner, Christina "Mausi" Lugner. Her journey was hindered by issues with navigation and a maze of construction sites, leading to an unfortunate event where another vehicle collided with her car while she was switching lanes.
She shared her sentiments with "oe24" concerning the incident, mentioning that everything is alright with both parties and she hopes to get the sentimental BMW fixed soon. Fortunately, the BMW sustained only minor damages. However, she seemed more shaken up, stating that she "feels quite drained".
Strength in unity
Could she benefit from some time off? She also shared during the interview that "I am working, Richard would have wanted it that way. It's sadder at home than in the office or the Lugner City." Meanwhile, she dismissed rumors of inheritance disagreements following Lugner's demise, stating that "We are united in mourning and want Richard to look upon us with pride. There are no disputes or such issues. Only grief and sorrow."
Simone Reiländer and Richard Lugner were happily married in June. The late Lugner, a popular opera ball enthusiast and builder, had already been through five marriages. Lugner left us on August 12, though his 91 years of age and ongoing health issues made his departure less of a surprise to some.
After expressing her relief that no one was injured in the car accident, Simone mentioned, "I'm not going to lie, I'm feeling quite drained and overwhelmed lately." Later in the interview, when addressing the rumors of inheritance disputes, she asserted, "I'm not going to sugarcoat it, but we are truly united in mourning and want Richard to look upon us with pride."
