Illegal Action - Whoopi Goldberg so eccentrically buried her mother at Disneyland

Whoopi Goldberg chatted with talk show host Seth Meyers last week about the release of her memoirs "Bits and Pieces: My Mother, My Brother, and Me" and shared an intriguing story. The 68-year-old actress spoke candidly. One tale in particular was fascinating.

Goldberg recounted how she once illegally scattered her mother's ashes at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. Her mother, Emma Harris, passed away in 2010 from a stroke. She loved Disneyland in life, and she wanted it to remain a part of her in death. In a flash, Goldberg packed the ashes into a bag and headed to the amusement park.

Whoopi Goldberg: Sneezing Fit at "Small World"

During her appearance on "Late Night With Seth Meyers," the actress then shared a peculiar story and even reenacted her concept faithfully. She once took a ride on the "Small World" ride. A dark boat ride through various themed worlds with dolls. Miniature worlds essentially. She explained why she had decided to go on this ride: "When I was a child, the World's Fair took place here and 'Small World' was introduced," she said. "She loved 'Small World'," Goldberg added about her mother.

During the boat ride with other passengers, Goldberg would occasionally take a handful of ashes from her bag. She would then hold the ashes near her face, towards the puppet worlds on the sides, and artificially sneezed into her hand, causing the ashes to disperse into the air. She repeated this action several times and justified her behavior to the passengers with the words: "My God, this chill is getting worse."

Finally, "we came to the flowers where 'Disneyland' stands, and I just thought: 'Look at that,'" she spread a little more ashes. But then a pang of conscience overcame her, and she wanted to make sure she hadn't harmed anyone with her actions. She went to a park ranger and confessed her illegal act. "I actually wanted to make sure I hadn't done anything harmful. That wasn't my intention, but there's a reason why they don't want the ashes to just fly around."

After revealing her unconventional tribute to her mother, Whoopi Goldberg expressed her affection for the "Small World" ride at Disneyland, a favorite of Emma Harris during the World's Fair. On this memorable occasion, Goldberg performed a unique ritual, disrupting her own ride experience by sneezing ashes from her mother's remains into the air, claiming a chill was getting worse. Following her unusual actions, she felt the need to address any potential harm and approached a park ranger to confess her unauthorized dispersal of her mother's ashes.

Seth Meyers, who hosted the talkshow where Goldberg shared these stories, expressed his support for the actress's unforgettable tribute to her mother during their conversation about her memoirs.

Emma Harris, the beloved mother of Whoopi Goldberg, had a profound impact on her daughter's life and captured the actress's heart with her affection for Disneyland and the "Small World" ride.
