All Swifties who have always wanted to take a selfie with music superstar Taylor Swift (34) now have the chance. Starting today, August 13, fans can find the spitting image of the 34-year-old singer at the Hamburg Panoptikum, Germany's oldest wax figure museum. The wax figure was unveiled today and is dressed in a shimmering blue sequined jumpsuit and shiny silver high boots, an outfit Swift wore at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in March 2019 in Los Angeles.

Taylor Swift's Wax Figure Unveiled on Special Date

Berlin artist Lisa Büscher has been working on Swift's wax figure since December 2023, spending around eight months on the project. Since Swift didn't sit for the figure herself, Büscher studied footage from the past decade. "Achieving perfect likeness is particularly challenging with a flawless, ageless beauty," Büscher said in a Panoptikum press release. "It was also technically demanding to recreate her signature heart hand pose - arranging limbs and body takes the most time."

The Panoptikum is home to many music legends like Adele (36), Ed Sheeran (33), and Hamburg native Udo Lindenberg (78). Other notable figures from history and pop culture, such as climate activist Greta Thunberg (21), Hollywood star Angelina Jolie (49), and physicist Albert Einstein (1879-1955), can also be found there. Swift's wax figure was unveiled on August 13, as the number 13 is her lucky number.

I'm not going to sugarcoat it, creating Taylor Swift's wax figure was an immense challenge due to her flawless appearance and timeless beauty. Despite not having the opportunity to meet Swift in person, I was determined to get every detail right, especially her signature heart hand pose.
