Iceland star Rúrik Gíslason - Volcanic eruption can be seen in video clip
A volcano erupted in Iceland on Monday evening near the town of Grindavik, north-east of the capital Reykjavik. Former Icelandic footballer Rúrik Gíslason (35) also shared a video of the sight on his Instagram stories that night. "Iceland is erupting again," he wrote about the images, which were taken relatively far away.
In a second video, which was also filmed on a rooftop, Icelandic international footballer Kári Árnason (41) is linked. It is unclear whether the video was made by him or whether he is just the person half of it.
It was only in July that a volcano erupted near the Icelandic capital Reykjavik. During the momentous eruption of the Eyjafjallajökull volcano in Iceland in 2010, so much ash was thrown into the atmosphere that air traffic had to be suspended in large parts of northern and central Europe.
Injury during the "Stars in the Manege" shoot
Rúrik Gíslason recently caused a stir with an injury he sustained during the TV recording of the Sat.1 show "Stars in der Manege". During rehearsals for a daring acrobatic act at the beginning of December, the Icelander injured himself a few days before the recording and had to go to the emergency room.
