Daughter of Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck - Violet Affleck has a 'post-viral infection'

The eldest child of Hollywood stars Ben Affleck (51) and Jennifer Garner (52), Violet Affleck (18), is reportedly suffering from a "post-viral Illness" according to her own statements. At a city council meeting in Los Angeles, Violet gave a passionate plea for more health protection in public spaces and revealed her own illness. Before the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, the 18-year-old, who wore an FFP2 mask over her face, said: "Hello, I'm Violet Affleck, a resident of Los Angeles, a voter, I'm 18. I caught a post-viral illness in 2019."

Although she is doing better now, she shared that she has firsthand experience that medicine does not always provide answers for the effects of harmless viruses. The Corona-Pandemic highlighted this once again. "One in ten infections leads to Long Covid, a devastating neurological and cardiovascular disease that can rob people of the ability to work, see, move or even think," Affleck stated emotionally. She therefore demanded, among other things, the reintroduction of mask mandates in hospitals and further measures.

Violet Affleck Wants Mask Bans Lifted

She also advocated for the availability of masks and emphasized the value of air filter systems, free tests, and Far-UV-C light in government buildings to reduce the general virus load, for example in prisons. In addition, she called for the lifting of partial mask bans. These endanger "vulnerable members of our community" and do not contribute to safety. Dr. Lucky Tran, a biologist and health activist, posted the entire speech of Affleck on the short messaging service X. At the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, residents have the opportunity to regularly present their concerns to the responsible persons.

Violet Affleck has been photographed several times without a mask by photographers, even on the street next to her mother Jennifer Garner. The reason for her caution was unknown to the public until now. The 18-year-old is the offspring of the relationship between actors Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner. The two married in 2005, had two more children during their marriage, and separated in 2015.

  1. Despite her recovery, Violet Affleck, the 18-year-old daughter of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, has personally experienced the challenges of finding answers for symptoms caused by harmless viruses, such as her post-viral illness in 2019, which she mentioned during her impassioned plea for health protection at the Los Angeles City Council meeting.
  2. At the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, Violet Affleck, known for her advocacy for increased health protection measures, emphasized the importance of mask mandates in hospitals and the use of air filter systems, free tests, and Far-UV-C light in government buildings to combat the Coronavirus and the potential effects of Long Covid.
  3. In a move that showed her commitment to health protection, Violet Affleck, the eldest child of Hollywood stars Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, wore an FFP2 mask during her speech and called for the lifting of partial mask bans, stating that they endanger vulnerable members of the community and do not contribute to safety.
  4. The Coronavirus pandemic not only affected Violet Affleck's health but also highlighted the importance of health protection measures in public spaces, a topic that she passionately advocated for to protect her own health and the health of others, as shown at the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors.
