Following Elena Miras' entrance to the RTL jungle camp, the participants needed to readjust. In the fourth episode of the series "Showdown of the Jungle Legends" special, aired on Sunday, the reality star once again stirred things up.
The 32-year-old suggested reorganizing the disliked night watch by the campfire, leading to an intense altercation with team leader Hanka Rackwitz. Rackwitz suggested Miras should "show some humility when joining a new group," to which Miras responded, "I don't have a boss here."
Power struggles also surfaced between other participants. Daniela "Danni" Buchner and Giulia Siegel argued over cooking duties (Danni: "Do you have a problem or what's your issue?"). While most campers put up with the dispute, veteran Kader Loth weighed in, much to Siegel's annoyance. "Kader, don't use your screen time on me," she snapped.
Amidst the drama, the "legends" got emotional on day four. Former footballer Thorsten Legat revealed to the visibly shaken campers that he hasn't consumed alcohol since a drunken incident where he defended himself and injured a man. Miras also confided in Gigi Birofio about her depression, finding solace in her daughter.
This time, Miras picked her friend Gigi for the jungle trial. In the "Aunt Dilemma Store," he had to tally items such as cockroaches, mealworms, and small crocodiles. The challenge wasn't so much about the live critters as it was deciphering the shopping list ("21 maggots? What's a maggot?"). His prize: nine stars for the camp.
This new "I'm a Celebrity" series is a special anniversary edition celebrating 20 years of the show, first aired in 2004. It's essentially a reunion, featuring "legends" who have appeared in previous seasons.
