TV tip - Two dead bodies on the beach: "Nord Nord Mord" on ZDF

A body lies on the beach in the far north of the vacation island of Sylt. It is a young Spaniard who was one of the kitesurfers who let themselves be pulled over the water by kites in the sea. When ex-professional and trainer Tom (Anton Rubtsov) is questioned, he claims not to have known the victim. Shortly afterwards, Tom is attacked from behind in his camper van, but manages to free himself - only to lie dead on the beach a short time later. In the 22nd episode of the crime series "Nord Nord Mord", Inspector Carl Sievers (Peter Heinrich Brix) has to solve two murders at once. "Sievers and the Dream of Flying" airs this Monday (8.15 pm) on ZDF.

Tom's kite student Lena (Liselotte Voß) is particularly shaken. She had an affair with Tom, wanted to run away with him and leave her partner behind. No wonder the Sylt investigators are struggling to shed light on the tangled web of this case. Hinnerk Feldmann (Oliver Wnuk) finally wants to make his dream of flying come true and attends a surfing course with kite instructor Mats (Nico Rogner). He used to have his eye on Inspector Ina Behrendsen (Julia Brendler) - which in turn makes Feldmann jealous.

Sievers is basically unable to do much more than puzzle around aloud - he is also plagued by jealousy, as he observes his beloved Tabea Krawinkel (Victoria Trauttmansdorff) with another man, to which she reacts in an unexpectedly refreshing way.

Director Alex Schaad (33, "Out of My Skin") shows several unhappy lovers in this thriller, and it doesn't seem to end well for any of them. The solution to the case, which has been tinkered with by three scriptwriters, is sure to occur to some viewers sooner and more easily than to the investigating team. After all, they are mainly preoccupied with their own sensitivities and for the most part behave in an astonishingly silly manner.

So we can only hope that the two detectives and their colleague will quickly get their act together and sort out their various emotional tangles. So that the next case - "Sievers and the five question marks" on January 8 at 8.15 p.m. - can be properly investigated again.
