TUI records highest revenue with 3.6 billion euros.
TUI, a prominent tourism group, is on the upswing. The company based in Hanover posted a whopping 3.6 billion euros in sales for the second quarter, an impressive 16% increase compared to the same period in 2021. They're expecting their annual revenue growth to be at least 10% over the previous year.
Things seem very promising for this summer - currently, more than half (60%) of their hotel rooms, cruises, packages, and other offerings are all sold out. TUI's CEO, Sebastian Ebel, shared that people's love for traveling remains strong, and existing trends are still in place.
Despite the setbacks during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2022, the company has nearly bounced back. Last year, TUI recorded remarkable profits. In April, they made a return to the Frankfurt Stock Exchange after around a decade, and next month, they're looking to be included in the MDAX share index after completing their listing on the London Stock Exchange.

TUI's record-breaking quarterly revenue of 3.6 billion euros surpassed their previous best, setting a new benchmark in the tourism industry. With the company's expected annual revenue growth of at least 10%, they are poised to achieve sales numbers exceeding a quarter of a billion euros. This remarkable turnaround for TUI, following the challenges they faced during the COVID-19 pandemic, is a testament to the enduring appeal of travel and tourism.
