Trump totally rejects Haley's potential as vice president.

Nikki Haley, a favorite among moderate Republicans, isn't an option for Donald Trump as his running mate. He's made it clear they won't be collaborating.

Once a rival in the GOP primaries, Nikki Haley has been vocal in her criticism of Trump. Despite her popularity with moderate and independent Republicans, Trump doesn't seem interested in picking her as his VP.

The former Governor of South Carolina had a long-fought battle with Trump during the primary season, giving her a higher profile in the process. After dropping out in early March, she didn't back Trump. Over the past few weeks, she hasn't been in the spotlight much, but speculation has been rampant about her as a possible running mate.

News of her exclusion comes as no shock considering their history, but it does take away a potentially smart tactical move for Trump. Many Republicans believe Haley could siphon off votes Biden might have taken from him.

As the search for a running mate continues, several names have been mentioned. Senators Tim Scott and J.D. Vance, as well as New York Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, are on the list. North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum is also being considered, but there's one name that might be out of the running: South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem.

A statement from Noem about shooting her own dog caused outrage, and her recent suggestion about Joe Biden's sheepdog drew further controversy. When asked about it, Trump's inner circle remained tight-lipped. They said, "Anyone who claims to know who or when President Trump will choose his vice president is lying. Unless that person's name is Donald Trump."

The race between Trump and Biden is expected to be a close one in November. Biden is still relying on Kamala Harris as his running mate.

Nikki Haley, a prominent Republican and critic of Donald Trump, was ruled out as a potential vice presidential candidate for the 2024 election by Trump himself, citing their past differences and lack of interest in collaboration.

Despite her popularity among moderates and independents, Trump's decision to exclude Haley from his VP list could potentially affect his election strategy, as some Republicans believe she could draw votes away from his Democratic opponent.
