- Travis Scott arrested after a fight
Rapper Travis Scott (33) was arrested early Friday morning by Paris police. According to the Paris daily "Le Parisien", citing police sources, officers were called to the Hotel George V in the 8th arrondissement around 5 a.m. due to alleged violent altercations involving a receptionist.
Scott was reportedly intoxicated and placed in a detox cell. Due to his blood alcohol level, the rapper was still not fit for questioning hours later. The magazine "Valeurs Actuelles" initially reported that Scott had gotten into an argument with his bodyguard at the hotel.
The 33-year-old was a prominent guest at the Olympic Games on Thursday evening (8 August). He watched the men's basketball semifinal between Serbia and the USA, which Team USA, featuring NBA stars LeBron James (39), Stephen Curry (36), and Kevin Durant (35), won in a late comeback. Scott watched the intense game in the audience alongside his rap colleague Quavo (33).
