Tim Mälzer misses his teddy bear
Other people might sometimes miss their dog, their key, or their briefcase. Tim Mälzer, however, is missing his oversized Teddy bear. He and his team are now asking for "reliable tips" in the search for "Bear".
At the Hamburg restaurant "Bullerei" by TV chef Tim Mälzer, there has been a secret star for many years: A large Teddy bear used to greet guests in the entrance area of the establishment. However, "Bear" has now disappeared and has been sorely missed for several days.
The team of "Bullerei" announced this on their official Instagram account. It also states there that "Bear" was last seen on June 23 at 9 pm.
"Description: approximately 1.20 meters tall, playful, sweet, trustworthy, cuddly, and bear-like," it says about some images of the teddy bear, on which "Bear" is also seen at work - for example, at the reception or looking over the menus.
A "sweet reward" is waiting
They ask for "reliable tips, so that 'Bear' can come back to us quickly," the responsible parties write in their missing person report furthermore. Anyone who returns the XXL-Teddy "safely" will receive a "just as sweet reward".
Meanwhile, "Bullerei" has also published a picture of a replacement Teddy bear on Instagram, who now holds the position that "Bear" used to. As can be read like a speech bubble, he also misses his famous colleague: "So, then I'll make the substitution. My colleague is still missing to me, though..." The Teddy, who has a slightly lighter fur color than the original mascot of the restaurant, says.
Tim Mälzer, born in Elmshorn, is one of the most famous chefs in Germany. He is particularly well-known because he regularly appears on shows like "Tastes Bad, It's Not There", "The Kitchen Arena", or "Kitchen Impossible" on television. He has already opened several restaurants in various German cities. The popular "Bullerei" in a former livestock market hall in the Hamburg Schanzenviertel has been run by him since 2009.
The search for Tim Mälzer's missing Teddy bear has expanded beyond the "Bullerei" restaurant. Local food establishments and cooking shows, where Tim often appears, have also shared the news, hoping their audience might have seen "Bear" on TV.
In an attempt to add a bit of fun to the situation, the replacement Teddy bear at the "Bullerei" has started hosting cooking classes, proudly announcing, "Even without Bear, the show must go on, but it's still not the same without my cuddly colleague!"
