- Till Lindemann asks questions of farewell with a poem
Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann has sparked speculation among fans about a possible departure with a poem on his Instagram account. Lindemann posted a photo of himself in a lake and wrote under the title "Everything has its time" something like: "The past leaves wrinkles / better late than never / when it unfortunately can no longer go on / one should grab hat and coat / venture out into the wide world."
Some users showed solidarity with the 61-year-old, while others feared the lines signaled a departure from Rammstein. The band's management did not initially comment on this on request from dpa.
Just a few days ago, Rammstein thanked their fans on Instagram for their support after their tour. While the "massive stadium tour" has now come to an end after 135 concerts, "Rammstein is not over. We are not over. You are not over. The path continues," the post read further.
Breaks and time-outs are not unusual for the band. There were ten years between the albums "Liebe ist für alle da" and the untitled penultimate album.
After expressing gratitude to their fans on Instagram a few days ago, the speculation about Till Lindemann's potential departure from Rammstein has arisen due to his poem on the same platform. Some fans interpreted his words as a hint towards leaving the band, while others viewed it as a break or time-out, given Rammstein's history of such intervals.
