Til Schweiger is visibly injured

After a life-threatening sepsis, Til Schweiger may still face a heart surgery. The 60-year-old was spotted in a worrying condition on a flight to Mallorca, reigniting speculation about his health.

For months, Til Schweiger has been making headlines with concerning reports. After a life-threatening blood infection, he is now expected to undergo heart surgery. The 60-year-old was seen on a flight to Mallorca, looking frail and weakened, according to witnesses who spoke to RTL.

Schweiger was traveling from Berlin to his Finca on the Balearic island, where he was photographed and filmed by fellow passengers. With a cap on his head and a crutch in his hand, the actor appeared fragile and extremely weakened.

After landing, Schweiger used the airport's mobility service. He was greeted at the exit by a man who helped him with his luggage, according to the RTL report. Schweiger's inflamed leg still seems to cause him significant difficulty in walking. Due to the sepsis, he had to be treated in a hospital on Mallorca in April, and an amputation of the leg was even briefly considered.

Fortunately, this danger seems to have been averted. However, the planned heart surgery, in which a stent is to be inserted into the filmmaker, must still be postponed. According to RTL, this is due to the "open leg." Schweiger's doctors reportedly consider the risk of complications and dangers too high given his pre-existing condition.

Only recently, Til Schweiger's fans could breathe a sigh of relief when he appeared on his Instagram profile with a dermatologist from Düsseldorf and promoted her beauty products. In a subsequent interview with RTL, the doctor attributed his fresh but slightly over-ironed appearance to his Mallorca tan, weight loss, and his 150-day abstinence from alcohol.

Despite his health challenges, Til Schweiger continued to work on his projects. Recently, a film scene featuring Schweiger was shared online, showcasing his resilience and dedication to his craft.

Following his health scare, Til Schweiger's upcoming film projects have been a subject of interest among his fans, who eagerly await updates on his recovery.
