Til Schweiger confuses fans with new photo

Til Schweiger would just like to thankfully express his politeness for a cosmetic treatment, but the accompanying picture raises speculations. Many followers are convinced: Artificial Intelligence was at work here.

"A thousand thanks, dear Miriam, for the detailed consultation and treatment. I felt very good about it", writes Til Schweiger on Instagram about a shared photo with Dr. Miriam Rehbein, a dermatologist whom Schweiger trusts. After a week, he could recognize "a significant improvement" and is now "very much looking forward to my new radiant skin image", Schweiger gushes.

In truth, the 60-year-old looks transformed. However, many followers do not believe that cosmetic products were the "gamechanger" that Schweiger claims. Instead, they are convinced that Artificial Intelligence (AI) was at work in the picture. "Dear Til, something is off about this picture", "What's going on with your head? Have you become an alien? Poorly processed photo", "Fake photo, it's clear!", or "Sorry, but I can't shake off the feeling that we have an AI-generated photo here. The body posture towards each other is so unnatural, it looks like two individual photos that were put together" are some of the skeptical comments regarding Schweiger's photo with Dr. Rehbein.

Besides the image composition, many Instagram followers are also confused about Schweiger's slightly scanty hairdo. "What's going on with your hair?", or "If that's responsible for your new hairstyle, Dr. Rehbein (Anm.d.Red.) should consider filing for bankruptcy". Some at least find that Schweiger looks cool with a side parting. At least his "Manta, Manta" colleague Tina Ruland gives a compliment: "Cool hairstyle!".

Unrelated to Schweiger's appearance, the posting text itself becomes the topic. Many fans do not believe Schweiger's advertising post. "What's the point? Is Til making advertising for beauty products... And then such a bad picture - that's really strange... who is supposed to believe that?" or "I'm still debating, what irritates me more: the picture or the text" are suspicious comments. Many suspect that the "Keinohrhasen" star has been hacked. "Is it satire?", wonders a fan in confusion. "I don't know whether I should laugh or cry", summarizes another user. "Wink, if you need help!" writes a follower directly to Schweiger.

According to RTL verification, however, neither AI nor Photoshop were involved in the Instagram photo. And the experts also rule out a hacker attack. Schweiger can therefore be pleased that at least some of his fans find that he looks different, but "brutally good" on the picture.

  1. Despite the assurance from Dr. Miriam Rehbein and RTL validation, some skeptical Instagram users continue to argue that Artificial Intelligence might have been used to enhance Til Schweiger's appearance in the shared photo.
  2. Amidst the speculations about cosmetic treatments and AI, Til Schweiger's new hairstyle also became a talking point on Instagram, with some users admiring the side parting and others expressing their amusement or disbelief.
  3. Following the release of the controversial Instagram photo, Til Schweiger found himself in the middle of an entertainment debate, with some fans questioning the authenticity of the post and others praising his transformation, thanks to AI or not.
