- Tightened security for their London concerts
Following the cancellation of three Vienna concerts by Taylor Swift (34) due to terror threats, the singer is set to take the stage again in just a few days for the final shows of the European leg of her "Eras Tour" at London's Wembley Stadium. The shows are expected to proceed as planned, with enhanced security measures.

As reported by TMZ, the concerts will be guarded by additional private security forces specialized in counter-terrorism, in addition to police. This is a response to the foiled terror attack in Vienna, as well as ongoing protests in the UK. While Wembley Stadium is considered one of the safest in Europe from a counter-terrorism perspective, there are still concerns. Particular attention will also be given to protecting the thousands of Swifties who gather outside the stadium at many concerts.
In Vienna, the event organizer cancelled all three concerts (August 8, 9, and 10) after two suspects were arrested, reportedly planning a terror attack on the concerts that weekend.
London police: "Nothing" suggests danger
A spokesperson for the London Metropolitan Police has also assured, "There is nothing to suggest that the matters under investigation by the Austrian authorities will have any impact on upcoming events here in London."
The five concerts at London's Wembley Stadium (August 15 to 20) mark the end of the European leg of Swift's "Eras Tour." In October and November, the Grammy winner will perform several shows in the US and Canada. The tour kicked off in March 2023 in Glendale, Arizona.
Despite the cancelled concerts in Vienna due to terror threats, the United Kingdom remains confident in the safety of Taylor Swift's upcoming shows at the United Kingdom's own Wembley Stadium. This confidence is reinforced by the London Metropolitan Police, who have stated that there's no indication of any danger relating to the Vienna incidents affecting the London concerts.
