"And Just Like That..." - Three new men signed up for the series
In this week, Sarah Jessica Parker (59) and Kristin Davis (59) have been spotted filming as Carrie and Charlotte for "And Just Like That..." throughout the streets of Manhattan. A new season of the "Sex and the City" spin-off is currently being filmed in New York. And "And Just Like That..." is moving forward with new faces.
According to a report in industry magazine "Variety," the producers, including Sarah Jessica Parker, have cast three more actors for the upcoming third season, which is scheduled to air in 2025: Logan Marshall-Green (47), Mehcad Brooks (43), and Jonathan Cake (56).
From Spider-Man to Carrie Bradshaw
Logan Marshall-Green is known for films such as "Spider-Man: Homecoming." Mehcad Brooks has meanwhile gained television experience with his role in "Desperate Housewives." Both Jonathan Cake and his colleagues are set to be introduced as recurring guest stars in the third season. Their characters have not been revealed yet.
Reuniting with past guest stars
In addition, Sebastiano Pigazzi (28) and Dolly Wells (52) are joining the series as regular cast members. Pigazzi plays Giuseppe, who flirts with Anthony (Mario Cantone, 64), while Wells portrays Joy, a colleague of Miranda (Cynthia Nixon, 58).
However, fans of the series will have to do without two popular characters in the third season: According to industry website "Deadline," Karen Pittman (38) as Nya Wallace, the law professor, will not be appearing in the third season of the successful series. The same goes for Sara Ramirez (48), who portrayed the non-binary stand-up comedian Che Diaz.
Cynthia Nixon, who played the character Miranda Hobbes in the original "Sex and the City" series, will continue to be a part of "And Just Like That...". Logan Marshall-Green, known for his role in "Spider-Man: Homecoming", is joining the cast as a recurring guest star in the new season. Sarah Jessica Parker, along with Kristin Davis, has been filming scenes as Carrie Bradshaw and Charlotte York Goldenblatt throughout New York. The upcoming third season of "And Just Like That..." will also feature Mehcad Brooks, who has previously appeared in "Desperate Housewives". The characters of Marshall-Green, Brooks, and other new cast members have not yet been revealed.
