Three fatalities resulted from a kiosk blaze in Düsseldorf.

In the dead of night, a kiosk attached to an apartment building in Düsseldorf bursts into flames, claiming lives and leaving people injured.

The tragic incident resulted in the deaths of three individuals and caused severe injuries to two more. The fire department reports that the cause of the blaze, which engulfed the kiosk, remains unknown at this time.

Upon arriving at the scene around 2:30 a.m., first responders provided medical aid to a total of 16 people and transported them to the hospital. Initially, the kiosk was already engulfed in flames and the fire had spread to the second floor, as well as partially damaging the building's entrance. Frantically, people called out for help while standing on the balconies. Bravery displayed by the emergency services saved the lives of several individuals using three turntable ladders.

Despite successfully extinguishing the fire, the building is still being monitored for any potential safety hazards. The fire department anticipates that operations will continue for hours.
