Thore and Jana Schölermann welcome a new baby.
Thore and Jana Schölermann met at work on a TV show, fallen in love and found each other. There's nothing forbidden in their love story, quite the opposite, they're now even more blessed with a new addition to their family.
This new little one could be a star in making, he could pursue acting, hosting, or even be a great singing talent on "The Voice Kids". His birth took place at the Severinsklosterchen in Cologne.
Both Thore and Jana Schölermann have made waves in the TV industry. They're known for their roles in "Verbotene Liebe" which led them to fall in love in 2010. They've also tried their hand at moderation, working on shows like "Get the F*ck out of my House" together in 2018 and 2019. Jana often voices for movies, and Thore is famous for his moderation on "The Voice of Germany" and "The Voice Kids".
On Instagram, they shared a picture of their new baby's tiny feet, cradled by his parents' hands. A small teddy bear in the background has a note that reads "Echt Kölsche Jung", and also reveals the hospital where the baby was born.
Jana's little accident
"Our Schölermännchen," they named their second child, a reference to their little family member. This new baby boy joins their daughter Ilvi, who was born in December 2021. They tied the knot in September 2019.
Jana's pregnancy with their second child was announced in January. In a picture, their hands held each other, Ilvi was in between, and a positive pregnancy test was next to them. "Our lives will be even more colorful from now on", they said proudly.
Jana accidentally spilled the beans about the baby's gender in April, in an Instagram story. "Ugh, my memory is like a sieve during pregnancy", she explained, admitting her little slip-up.
Fan messages have already poured in congratulating the couple on the birth of their son. "Heartfelt congratulations. I'm so happy for you", was a message from "Let's Dance" star Isabel Edvardsson. RTL moderator Simon Beeck wrote, "Baby feet. Nothing softer". Singer Ross Antony just said "Congratulations", while his colleague Mike Singer opted for a more formal tone, saying "Congratulations".
