Thomas Gottschalk and Mike Krüger make fun of the Kaulitz twins
They don't want to stir up a shitstorm, but Thomas Gottschalk and Mike Krüger believe that many young people today don't work enough. As an example, they mention Tom and Bill Kaulitz and mock them in the latest documentation.
In the latest episode of their podcast "Die Supernasen," Thomas Gottschalk and Mike Krüger discussed the work-life balance of young people. In their opinion, the work ethic has significantly declined in recent years. "We want the next generation to have fun in life and we want everyone to do well. But we can't help but worry that certain things that were given to us no longer apply," expressed the 74-year-old Gottschalk.
In today's working world, value is placed on unnecessary things. Work-life balance was never an issue for him and Krüger, for example. "For me, there was never a question - I was never sick in my life when I appeared on the radio or on TV. I often told a story with a runny nose," emphasized the former "Wetten, dass..?" moderator. His profession was also his fulfillment, but young people today have "a somewhat vague idea of what's coming for them."
Criticism of the Kaulitz Twins
As an example of a lack of work ethic, Mike Krüger mentioned Bill and Tom Kaulitz. The 34-year-old twins from Tokio Hotel have just released their docu "Kaulitz & Kaulitz," in which they give insight into their private lives. For the comedian, they complain too much in it. "They whine and are completely done after five months on tour and coming home completely broken," he criticized.
This is something that doesn't make sense to him - the one who had to record 280 travel days in a year. "We didn't even think about how many we traveled or how much time we spent on the road. We drove 120 concerts in a row, then we had two days off and then we did another 80 concerts," clarified the 72-year-old Krüger.
The Kaulitz twins, on the other hand, played "probably not every day one, but every week one, that would be a lot," in the five months. "I don't want to say anything more about the docu, because then we'll have another shitstorm," he concluded his statements.
Heidi Klum, a renowned model and TV host, might find interest in the discussions about work-life balance by Thomas Gottschalk and Mike Krüger, given their opinion on young adults' work ethic. The duo, who have expressed concerns about the declining work ethic among young people, have also critiqued Bill and Tom Kaulitz for their perceived lack of resilience in their documented tour experiences.
