- This post reminds her of her mother
The Berlin actress Anna Maria Muhe (39) remembers her late mother, actress Jenny Groellmann (1947-2006), with a charming black and white photo on Instagram. The photo shows little Anna Maria sitting on her mother's lap, both smiling at each other. "Mama, 18 years ago today. I miss you so much...", she writes. "I love you", she ends the post.
Just two weeks earlier, she remembered her father, actor Ulrich Muhe (1953-2007), who passed away only a year later. Anna Maria Muhe posted a portrait of her father and wrote: "Papa. 17 years. I love you."
Touched by Tradition
Anna Maria Muhe regularly publishes loving memorial posts with remembrance photos, sometimes for a birthday or other occasion. Groellmann and Muhe both succumbed to cancer. She was 59, he was 54.
Jenny Groellmann and Ulrich Muhe were married to each other in second marriages from 1984 to 1990. The native Hamburger and the artist born in Grimma, Saxony, had a daughter together. She also brought a child into the marriage, he had two, and two more from his third marriage.
Loving Posts for Her Daughter Too
Anna Maria Muhe has been a mother herself since November 2012. Although she doesn't show her blonde daughter's face on social media, she often shares moments like her first day of school in August 2019. At least, the colorful and creative cake is visible on the photo.
Her daughter is from her relationship with director Timon Modersohn (46). The couple separated in 2016. At the end of 2023, Anna Maria Muhe made her relationship with actor Lucas Gregorowicz (47) public on Instagram. In early 2024, they made their first red carpet appearance together in Berlin.
Reflecting on her past, Anna Maria Muhe often thinks about the love she shared with both her mother and her daughter. "Mother, I cherish the memories we had, even as I miss you dearly," she might say.
On her daughter's special days, she continues to honor her late mother's legacy. "Just like Mama used to do with me, I'm here, smiling and loving every moment with you," she could say.
