Allegation of sexual assault - This is what Jamie Foxx's alleged victim says
The woman accusing Hollywood star Jamie Foxx (55) of sexual assault has appealed to the New York Supreme Court to maintain her anonymity, according to the US media. The site quotes from her application: "I do not seek to make my identity as a victim of sexual assault public, as it is a highly sensitive matter. I have already experienced massive shock, shame and embarrassment at the mental impact of the assault. I fear retaliation from other people in society."
It was hard enough for her to come forward with her allegations against the Oscar winner in the first place, she added. "The sexual assault I experienced has led to depression, anxiety, lack of sleep and pain. I am concerned that going public will cause further emotional trauma."

In mid-November, it became public knowledge that the actor would have to stand trial for alleged sexual harassment. The woman claims that she was sexually harassed by the actor in a New York restaurant in 2015. He "intentionally and without her consent offensively touched her using force", it says. Foxx, however, announced immediately after the lawsuit that the incident "never happened".
