- Thirteen days in the jungle: Molas's Reversed Role Gender Situation

Zack departs: Thorsten Legat exits the RTL jungle camp of legends. Interestingly, the contestant who likely yearned to triumph in the jubilee season the most, gets eliminated in the 13th episode of "I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! Legends", aired on RTL+ during Tuesday evening.

Flop in the "Slime Pool"

Regrettably, Legat and Gigi Birofio failed to gather all the stars from a water tank as swiftly as their rivals in the jungle trial "Slime Pool". Consequently, Mola Adebisi and Eric Stehfest have the power to decide who leaves the show. They elect Legat, with Adebisi justifying his choice by stating that Legat is "the toughest opponent". "So be it", Legat responds, continuing to assert "It's all good."

However, it appears that "all is not good" once the reality of elimination sinks in. "This is the conclusion of our journey", Legat laments, never one to shy away from the dramatic nature of the moment. "I've experienced it, I've cherished it."

"All good" - "All bullshit"

He emphatically declares "It's all good" one last time before possibly acknowledging the underlying truth: "All bullshit", the 55-year-old former footballer mutters, tears streaming down his face. "There's so much heartache within me." Initially, he had expressed indignation when competitor Georgina utilized the F-word, but perhaps different moral principles apply to mothers.

Switching gears, in episode 13, host Mola Adebisi shares his views on how mothers and fathers express love towards their children differently, his scorn towards emancipation, and his belief in a "classic marriage" between a man and a woman as the norm. He even tells Sarah Knappik, "You're a typical heterosexual woman."

"Reverse gender roles"

Later, host Jan Köppen labels Mola's comments as "reverse gender roles". Mola proudly declares that men should not perform tasks typically associated with women, and vice versa, using examples like filling a car and constructing an IKEA wardrobe. He also mentions that men must be cautious today and that double standards are prevalent. While a man commenting that a woman should cook is criticized, a woman expressing disinterest in cooking is cheered on. With a nonchalant tone, Mola also states, "My wife is my queen, but I am the law."

While the female contestants show their disbelief and dissent, candidate Eric remains silent when asked to contribute to the debate, stating, "I'd rather not say anything, or else things will escalate."

In the debates around gender roles, host Mola Adebisi asserts that men and women should not conform to traditional tasks, advocating for a reversal of traditional gender norms. However, some of his views, such as the belief that men should not do tasks typically associated with women, have sparked controversy and dissent among the female contestants.

Despite Mola's strong opinions on reversing gender roles, contestant Eric Stehfest decides to remain silent, recognizing the potential for escalation in the ongoing debate.
