"RTL high diving" - These stars are taking part in the third round

This time on January 12, 2024, "RTL Turmspringen" will enter its third round. The broadcaster announced this a few days ago. The first celebrity participants have now also been confirmed. The names can also be found on the "My Show" website, where tickets for the live event in Berlin can be purchased.

Fabian Hambüchen (36), the defending individual diving champion, will also be competing in 2024. The 2016 Olympic gymnastics champion will be up against another former gymnast. Philipp Boy (36) came out on top in the first edition of"RTL Turmspringen" in the individual event.

Zoe Lätizia Flindris (23), curvy model and former figure skater, also has sporting experience. Professional dancer Mariia Maksina (26,"Let's Dance") and the well-known Jacqueline Wruck (25) and Kim Hnizdo (27) from "Germany's next Topmodel" will also be taking part. Further participants are yet to be announced.

Second chance for René Casselly

René Casselly (27) is making a second attempt. The circus acrobat has already won "Ninja Warrior Germany" and "Let's Dance", and this year he also wanted to win the"high diving" competition. However, a training injury stopped the artist in his tracks: both of his eardrums burst on impact.

In 2023, several celebrities were injured during training. Fitness model Vanessa Mariposa (30) ruptured a silicone implant in her breast.

As in the last two years, the competition will be hosted by the team known from "Ninja Warrior", Jan Köppen (40), Frank Buschmann (59) and Laura Wontorra (34). RTL secured the rights to "TV total Turmspringen" in 2022, which ran on ProSieben from 2004 to 2015. Its creator Stefan Raab (57) is also active behind the scenes as a producer for the new RTL edition.
